Hello! My name is Maria Torres. I’m a sophomore at UMD. I grew up in Springfield, Missouri.
Last October, my mom called me and mentioned that the search for Naomi Watts had been called off. Naomi was a year older than me, and she went to a high school that neighbored mine. We went to the same elementary school, but we were never friends. I remember her disappearance being a big deal when I was home. Everyone I knew was volunteering in search parties.
The search was called off in 2009 after 3 years.
